Welcome!

Sykes Funeral Home & Crematory created the Tennessee Veterans Museum to pay tribute to veterans throughout Montgomery County and beyond. Highlighting veterans from Tennessee and Kentucky, this one-of-a-kind museum showcases a wide range of memorabilia celebrating some of our most beloved local heroes—from Tennessee’s Medal of Honor recipient WWI marksman Sergeant York to famous Army veteran Elvis Presley to fallen Navy SEAL Team Six member, Tennessee native, Aaron Vaughn, who lost his life during Operation Enduring Freedom.

Open Monday through Friday from 9 to 5, the Tennessee Veterans Museum is located in Sykes Funeral Home at 424 Franklin Street in Clarksville, Tennessee. We invite veterans, their families and all members of the community to stop by, enjoy some coffee, watch videos and peruse an array of interesting military keepsakes.

As a licensed Veterans Funeral Care provider, Sykes Funeral Home specializes in serving fallen veterans and their families with first-rate funeral care. However, our dedication to the heroes of this great nation doesn’t end there; we strive to honor our community’s veterans at every opportunity. This is why we opened the Tennessee Veterans Museum.

"This nation will remain the land of the free only so long as it is the home of the brave."

- E. Davis

"A hero is someone who has given his or her life to something bigger than oneself."

- Joseph Campbell

"The willingness of America's veterans to sacrifice for our country has earned them our lasting gratitude."

- Jeff Miller
